“Girl Diner”
This one started with a photo I took at my friend’s place during a girl’s night. She’s a ceramist and after we ate we spent the night sculpting clay just for fun. We had a blast! But before all that the table was already full with amazing food we all brought to the table. Olives, dips, cheese, bread, candles, flowers… Everything we had was laid out with zero planning and somehow it all looked beautiful. Not curated. Just good.
The next day I kept coming back to the photo. So I painted it.
Exactly how it was.
A little messy. A little generous.
