After getting up one morning, Beatrice takes a photo of her bed, which I decided to turn into a painting. This image perfectly captures the essence of this getaway to Berthier-sur-Mer: simple and serene. The pink striped wallpaper, white sheets, and lamp with a floral shade are representative of this cottage rented with friends, which ended up feeling more like a Manoir.

This pastel-colored painting recalls the sweet moments spent in a seaside hotel room or under our grandparents' roof, like an eternal bowl of fruit on the kitchen table.
