This one is for the pigeons who are not in a rush. Who are not flying across the world with letters or messages or meaning. Just hanging out on the balcony or near the dépanneur. A bit grumpy, a bit proud, probably not going anywhere anytime soon.
I painted this pigeon because I love how ordinary they are. We see them every day but barely look. But when you do stop to really see one, they are full of colour and attitude.
This print is a small ode to the slow birds, the overlooked birds, the ones with no big plans.
